Everyone knows that the best way to start a fun-filled day of vacation is with a hearty breakfast. Our downtown Gatlinburg hotel does provide you with a free continental breakfast each morning. However, if you’re looking for stacks of hot pancakes, piles of bacon, the best donuts in town or a mega-delicious cinnamon roll, you’ll want to check out one of the following 5 restaurants that we’ve listed for you.

Crockett’s Breakfast Camp

Listed by TripAdvisor as the #2 best restaurant in Gatlinburg and #1 breakfast spot, Crockett’s is clearly one of the most loved dining locations in town. From the never-ending menu of mountain soul food to the unique and authentic atmosphere, Crockett’s Breakfast Camp offers up dishes that are sure to satisfy everyone in your party. Looking for that mega-delicious cinnamon roll we mentioned? You’ll find it at Crockett’s!

Donut Friar

treats from the Donut Friar

Tucked away in the Village Shops of Gatlinburg, the Donut Friar is a favorite among guests that are looking to grab a coffee and satisfy a sweet tooth. Take time to enjoy the coziness of the Donut Friar, grab a coffee cup as a souvenir and take and feel free to bring a few donuts back to us at the hotel!

Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin

Located next door to our sister hotel, The Appy Lodge, Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin is a tradition for many that escape to the Smoky Mountains and stay in Gatlinburg. With dishes like Reese’s Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Spanish Omelets, and the Walker’s Cabin Skillet, it’s easy to see why. If you head over that way during your visit, stop in and check out The Appy and tell them we said hi!

Old Dad’s General Store

Old Dad’s General Store can be found on the end of the Gatlinburg strip, near the entrance the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With a walk-up counter, it’s a great place to grab a coffee, breakfast and any supplies you may need as you head into the park for the day. Old Dad’s is a great little laid-back spot that brings back memories from the good old days. If you’re leaving Gatlinburg to start the drive back home, stop in, pick up a few souvenirs and breakfast for the road.

Did we spark a craving for a delicious breakfast and a trip to the Smokies? Book your stay!
