Gatlinburg Charm

the village shops

For the past 50 years visitors in Gatlinburg have been taking strolls through the The Village Shops. If you’ve ever browsed the shops then you know that The Village offers a unique charm that plays part in the desire to return to our city time and time ago. The European style that can be found as you shop and dine, is unique to the area. The beautiful landscaping and brick pathways make for a perfect date night or morning shopping trip. Take time to relax by the fountain or pick up breakfast at The Donut Friar and chat with friends as you take in the morning at one of the cafe tables. During the spring months, you’ll find stunning rhododendron blooms around every corner and during the holiday season, you’ll be convinced that you’ve walked into a Hallmark movie.

Top Shops

The Village Shops offers 27 shops, many that are locally owned and operated. If you’re heading out on the trail for the day, swing The Day Hiker, owned by local hiker Joe Guenther and his family. Joe and his staff will be happy to help get prepared for a hike in the Smokies! Want to take home a gift for a loved one? Check out Master’s Editions or The Silver Tree. Do you have an addiction to popcorn? If so, you won’t want to miss Pop Culture! They have 25 unique flavors of gourmet popcorn.
